Operasi Jaya Pt 1 - The day it happened
I was called by Bilik Gerakan to immediately report duty for a building collapsed operation. I was shocked when they told me it was the former Jaya Supermarket building in Section 14, Petaling Jaya. Why you may asked? When I was growing up in Petaling Jaya, that building was one of 'the' icon there.

Majlis Penglibatan PLKN dalam Pertahanan Awam part 1
Last Monday, I was involved in the 'Majlis Penglibatan PLKN dalam Pertahanan Awam', officiated by Defence Minister, YB Dato' Seri Dr Zahid Hamidi. The event took place at Kem Seri Perkasa, Mantin.
The event marked the launch of a collaboration between Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) and Jabatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia (JPAM). What this means is that PLKN trainees now have the option to enlist as JPAM members at the end of their training. The following are some pictures taken during the event....

Dino Land....
Recently, we made a visit to the 'Monsters & Dinosaurs' exhibition at Mid Valley at the request of my eldest. Its basically an exhibition using hydraulics and a clever use of lighting to create that eerie feeling. The tickets were a bit pricey though...even more so after we saw how 'small' an area the exhibition was. So I thought since I had paid so much, I might as well share it with you....
So how did the kids like it? The following picture cant go far from the truth...
